Tim Szczepaniak – Town Councilman
Tim Szczepaniak an area resident for 23 years resides in the town of Ballston with his wife, Lori and his two daughters Lauren (12) and Carly (8).
Tim began his career as a police officer in Bennington Vermont after earning a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from Southern Vermont College. After serving the public for 7 years in Bennington Tim accepted as a security police officer position at Knoll Atomic Power Laboratory. In his 23 year career at Knolls Tim has held multiple management positions and currently supervises 45 employees as manager of facilities and services. This public service and facilities management background makes Tim uniquely qualified for town Councilman.
Tim was first elected to the Ballston Town Council four years ago and has provide needed common sense leadership to the board. Among his many contributions, Tim is especially proud of the work he has done ensure there no town or highway tax, there is open government and town services to residents are of the highest quality.
Tim asks for your support again as there is “more work to do”. Tim will be there to promote business in the town while preserving our rural character. We are not Clifton Park we are Burnt Hills, we are not Route 9 we are Route 50 . Tim believes in smart growth that is carefully considered, planned, zoned and compatible with the Town’s character and the town’s comprehensive plan.
